Thank you for your ongoing support of New Virginia Majority. Here are some updates from our organization this month.
2022 Election Wrap-Up
We want to give a huge thank you to all our supporters who were able to vote in the midterm elections. We win when we show communities what’s at stake and when we provide a bold vision forward with key policies that will improve people’s lives. New Virginia Majority’s canvassers and volunteers knocked on 66,152 doors, made 459,534 phone calls, and sent 62,727 mail pieces to our communities. Our voter universe was 62% women, 84% people of color, and 28% young people.
Thank You to Our Canvassers and Volunteers
This year we had 27 canvassers located in key districts in Northern Virginia, Richmond, and Hampton Roads, and the goal of this year’s volunteer program was to increase our share of Virginia based volunteers.
