The community of Lambert’s Point is on a search for James Squires, Norfolk Southern’s CEO, to talk about and show him the impact the coal dust that blankets our neighborhoods is having on our lives, and  to demand that the coal gets covered.

Norfolk Southern has dumped tons of coal dust into the Lambert’s Point community and surrounding areas  with impunity--this must end. Norfolk Southern's disregard for Black lives is killing residents of Lambert’s Point. Children are routinely sent to the emergency room to treat asthma attacks brought on by by the air quality.

Residents of Lambert's Point have a simple request for Norfolk Southern: cover your coal dust and save Black lives. James Squires: Why won't you meet with us to talk about what's killing us?

We won't give up the search until he meets with us.
